The Results
AR Proactive helps pharmacies automate patient billing, payments, and follow-up. AR Proactive integrates with FrameworkLTC to simplify:
Invoice mailing and emailing - These communication options come with links to your payment portal and customizable messaging to patients.
Autopay for patients - The patient's credit card (or ACH) is charged automatically each month for the balance due.
Patient portal - The patient can pay, view bills, and sign up for autopay online, which reduces the number of "touches" from your staff.
Bills by text message (SMS) - Text message functionality allows patients to receive their bills by text message and tap to pay (coming 1Q2025)
Automatic follow-up --> customizable reminders to slow payers

How It Works
You upload your patient statements to AR Proactive. Export your patient statements as a file from FrameworkLTC instead of printing them on paper each month. Then upload the file to ARP.
Patients get their statements and follow-up. After your optional review, we print, mail, email, and send text messages (coming 1Q2025) and present the invoices to patients online. The delivery preference (per patient) is set by the patient or pharmacy. Autopay patients are automatically charged. Follow-ups with reminders go to slow payers. All communication is workflow-based, patient-friendly, and has your branding.
Patient payments come to you. Paper checks and online payments are deposited to your bank account, which are auto-posted back into Sage/Framework. (We have bi-directional integration.) We do Autopay, Payment Plans, and Collection Agency team (optional) to speed up payments.
Think of AR Proactive as electronic billing but for patients. It’s similar to how pharmacies upload claim files to traditional payers and receive insurance payments. So now, you’re uploading a statement file and receiving patient payments.

The new integration will save pharmacies from hand-stuffing statements or manually sending email statements, as well as from hand-posting online payments.
Facility Billing
Facility billing (or Agency Billing) lets you send multiple patient invoices in one envelope (or in one email) to a Facility (or Agency).
The envelope (or email) contains:
A cover sheet to the agency/facility, with an option to show each patient's balance owed, and the total owed by the Facility
The individual patient invoices show each patient's detailed current charges and balance owed. Facilities can accept payments online or by paper check.
Setup and Pricing
Setting up AR Proactive takes about 2 weeks. Pricing is purely pay-as-you-go based on activity and a stamp or email cost. There’s no setup fee, no contractual lock-in, and no minimum.
