Overview:

As a part of the product management team, you will work on our suite of software products servicing long-term care pharmacies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management within an agile, Scrum-led organization and possess a deep understanding of the pharmacy industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a knack for developing compelling business cases, and the ability to drive product vision and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the product vision and strategy for the consultant pharmacist software.

  • Develop comprehensive business cases to support new product initiatives and enhancements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Oversee and manage limited production releases, ensuring smooth execution and delivery.

  • Attend Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Engage closely with customers to gather feedback, understand needs, and ensure product satisfaction.

  • Travel to conferences and customer sites as needed to represent the company and gather market insights.

  • Managing Full Lifecycle - Able to guide the innovation of your product areas through quarterly planning and bi-weekly development sprints executed by a scrum team, see your product areas through testing and launch.

  • Evangelizing Product - Your verbal, written, and presentation skills are excellent and you know how to use them to bring diverse stakeholders to consensus and evangelize your product ideas within and outside the company. You will need sound analytics, user testing data, deep understanding of health plan clients’ business problems, and deep knowledge/research of the latest trends in application development

  • Identify and analyze potential vendor relationships to manage resource capacity

  • Define and implement pricing, packaging, branding, and marketing strategies to drive revenues, growth, and adoption

  • Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in a computer science/technology-related field OR Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent academic degree from a reputed institution

  • Ten (10) or more years of combined successful experience in a retail, Long Term Care, or Specialty pharmacy ecosystem

  • Five (5) or more years of successful experience in software product management with a demonstrated set of experiences along the product management continuum

  • Knowledge of latest state and federal legislation, rules, and regulations; CMS guidelines; controlled substance-related rules and regulations

  • Awareness and knowledge of industry-related organizations such as NCPDP, ASAP, ASCP, etc

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to research, quickly understand and synthesize complex, often healthcare/pharmacy-related problems and then articulate them into simple and clearly understood requirements

  • Worked with multiple consumers and delivered enterprise software applications

  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing product releases.

  • Flexibility to travel for onsite meetings with clients/partners, as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of pharmacy management or similar health care technology solutions or the healthcare sector is a plus

  • Experience with Agile-Scrum development methodologies and best practices

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to research, quickly understand and synthesize complex, often technical problems and then articulate them into simple and clearly understood requirements
