We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our cloud operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure, developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies and procedures, identifying and managing vulnerabilities across our systems, maintaining a security awareness program, and conducting security reviews of vendors. This role also involves performing data analysis to ensure proper environmental security posture and assisting in incident response and compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Secure Public Cloud Infrastructure: Implement and manage security measures to protect public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Policy and Procedural Documentation: Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Vulnerability Management: Identify, assess, and manage vulnerabilities on servers and workstations, ensuring timely remediation.
Security Audits - Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Data Analysis: Perform data analysis by integrating and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends, anomalies, and potential security threats. This includes reporting on the security posture of servers, workstations, and cloud services.
Security Awareness Program: Maintain a security awareness program to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats.
Vendor Security Reviews: Collect information and documentation to conduct security reviews of vendors, ensuring they meet our security standards.
Incident Response: Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for mitigation.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations.
Security Tools Management - Assist in managing and maintaining security tools and software used within the organization.
Continuous Learning - Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies through self-study and formal training programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Proven experience in securing public cloud infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
Experience in creating and maintaining policy and procedural documentation.
Proficiency in identifying and managing vulnerabilities on servers and workstations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to combine and analyze data from disparate sources.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Crowdstrike endpoint protection solutions.
Familiarity with zero trust tools such as Zscaler.
Relevant cybersecurity and/or cloud vendor security certifications
